Our mission is to inspire a more conscious and inclusive world through the power of photography, twelve months a year. But June offers a special moment to celebrate expressions of pride with a calendar of events that centers our LGBTQ+ community of creatives and underscores inclusivity, self-expression, perseverance, and joy.

LAURENCE PHILOMÉNE

This month we premiere the work of Laurence Philomene, a non-binary artist from Montreal who creates colorful photographs informed by their lived experiences as a chronically ill transgender person. Their exhibition Puberty celebrates trans existence and studies identity as a space in constant flux via highly-saturated, cinematic, and vulnerable images.

MOOD RING X FOTOGRAFISKA

This month we also welcome beloved astrological bar, Mood Ring, as guest bartenders and program curators. Owners Vanessa Li and Bowen Goh are hosting queer-centric screenings, poetry night, a book launch, and more. Join us all month and enjoy Mood Ring’s rotating cocktail menu featuring favorites from their new recipe book, Margarita in Retrograde.
