Article: NUDE in Fotografiska Berlin Magazine
The NUDE exhibition at Fotografiska Berlin celebrates the works of thirty self-identified female artists from all around the world, including Carlota Guerrero (*1989, Spain), Laila Majid (*1996, Pakistan), Evelyn Bencicova (*1992, Slovakia) Angélica Dass (*1979, Rio de Janeiro), Momo Okabe (*1981, Japan), and Joana Choumali (*1974, Ivory Coast). In her essay for Fotografiska Berlin Magazine, writer Olamiju Fajemisin considers how the artists’ works – which vary in form, subject, and how they are presented – showcase unique ways of representing female nudity, emphasizing its virtue by portraying it without objectifying it.
