FAMILY FUN DAY - Mother's Day Edition
FAMILY FUN DAY - Mother's Day EditionMay 9 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 2021
Our special Mother’s Day edition will be led by portrait artist and filmmaker Catalina Kulczar, a photographer, teacher and mother who loves to teach children about the many ways of connecting with the world.
The day’s activities will be inspired by award-winning Magnum photographer Susan Meiselas’ new book, Eyes Open: 23 Photography Projects for Curious Kids.
Eyes Open presents playful and meaningful projects that encourage kids to express themselves creatively through photography. Meiselas says, “The camera can be a way of connecting to people and places while also expressing yourself.”

About Catalina Kulczar
Portrait artist and filmmaker Catalina Kulczar is a natural storyteller who connects easily and authentically with her subjects and what drives them.
Her work tends to be project based, or to involve groups of portraits that convey a bigger theme, frequently exploring topics rooted in women’s roles in contemporary work and society.
She is interested in creating informed narratives about individual women who have courageously overcome resistance and obstacles in their paths, no matter what the sector.
