In his quest to see the divine in love, Cushenberry uses the medium of photography to highlight the eloquence and transience that inhabits each moment. Flipping through the pages, what stands out on every page is the care given for each subject. The gorgeously crafted Japanese silk cloth exterior intimates the precious gift of the every day. Cushenberry's work is part of Fotografiska's installation, "Tracking Down Intimacy," in partnership with Black Artists Fund (BAF), showcasing the talent of emerging Black artists and supporting efforts broadening opportunities for Black creators.
