Hip Hop Conscious Unconscious Baseball Cap
The classic styled baseball cap was common enough sportswear in the mid-20th century, but early in the 1980s it jumped the fence into the world of everyday wear and since has taken hold as a ubiquitous style. Doubtless Hip Hop's enthusiastic endorsement of the look - non-status, utilitarian - contributed to its popularity. Fotografiska presents an anniversary marking edition with their Hip Hop Conscious Unconscious release; a plain black, title brand stitched front logo model, with the addition of the Hip Hop 50 red tab on the left rim side. Ours - a "Dad" hat style with 6-panel crown and slightly curved brim - has a metal adjustable buckle strap in the rear, six ventilation eyelets around the crown, and the essential fabric covered top button or "squatchee".
