Untitled #5 Poster
Unlike Vee Speer's earlier exhibitions at Fotografiska - “The Birthday Party” and “Bulletproof”, the photo series “Thirteen” were actually never exhibited. The posters created are amongst few of which Fotografiska made without an actual exhibition taking place.
“Thirteen” was created by Speers as a reflection of her thirteen year old daughter's life, and what changes she went through in becoming a young adult. In this picture we see Speers daughter dressed in a bizarre outfit holding two black birds in each hand.
