Fotografiska curates a large outside art exhibition - Open Air Exhibition in Stockholm. The exhibition is made possible with the collaboration with our partner Clear Channel.

Albert Watson, Lennart Nilsson, Mandy Barker, Vee Speers and Anton Corbijn are some of the photographers that displays their photos on the first outdoor exhibition.

From the 27th of April - May 10th people walking the streets in Stockholm can experience work of some of the world's most renowned photographers.
On 50 bus stops around the central city, a total walking distance of 15 km, the work of the photographers is presented.
The purpose of the exhibition is to give a little bit of relief in the strangeness we may for now call our ordinary.

- For the time being, our museum is closed, but Fotografiska will always keep providing the public, cultural experiences. When the idea, and the possibility, aroused in March to do this exhibition we immediately asked some of the world's most interesting photographers. We were very happy when our proposal was met with a large enthusiasm, much more so than we had ever hoped for, Per Broman says, founder of Fotografiska Stockholm, and continues:
- With Open Air Exhibition, our first exhibition outdoors in Stockholm, these photographers and Fotografiska hope to give something back to society in a moment of time where strange is the new ordinary. We have always, and will always, trust in art (and daily exercise), no matter what.

It is the first time Fotografiska curates an large scale exhibition outside in Stockholm.

"An open-air exhibition is especially important at the moment because of what is going on in the world. Hopefully, viewers will pause, reflect and appreciate the photography, and perhaps it will even transport them to another place and time, at least momentarily"
Albert Watson, medverkande fotograf.
"I chose to be part of the Open Air Exhibition so that people going about their daily exercise and travel could feel something positive during this time of uncertainty. Art is a powerful form of communication and I believe it can uplift people. If the flowers in my image can raise a smile and let others know we are thinking of them, it would be the best I can do as an artist"
Mandy Barker, medverkande fotograf.
