Pieter ten Hoopen

Is an experienced and internationally acknowledged photographer based in Stockholm. ten Hoopen switches between editorial and commercial assignments, to more personal projects. He has a great number of regular clients such as the New Yorker, the New York Times Magazine, Le Monde and Plan International.ten Hoopen was born in the Netherlands and moved to Sweden in the late nineties. 

 

 

He studied photo journalism at Nordens Fotoskola and started working as a freelance photographer in 2003. He has received a number of Swedish and international awards, and for his film Hungry Horse – the legends of everyday, he was nominated for the prestigious Emmy Award. So far, ten Hoopen has published three books of photography: Stockholm, Tokyo 7 and Hungry Horse. 

What is an edition?

Fotografiska Edition is a selection of photographs from the Museum of Photography. We have chosen photographs to fall in love with - offering both Open, Limited and Exclusive editions of photography from the world’s finest artists. We want to establish photographic art as an essential part of interior design.
