Arvida Byström (b. 1991) is an artist based in Stockholm. Her interest in photography began to grow at an early age and already as a teenager she started publishing her images on various digital platforms, building the foundation for her aesthetic style. Byström's exhibition at Fotografiska allows us to follow her as she explores the subjects of femininity, identity and gender norms with intimate and challenging work that questions norms in society, such as the sexualization of the body.
