Swedish photographer Jessica Silversaga photographed female models for 10 years for her project ‘När du blundar svävar jag’ (English ≈ when you close your eyes I float). Silversaga made all the outfits for the models from scratch, and directed the photoshoots thoroughly for this project that is very close to her heart. Anna Clarén, who once upon a time was Silversaga’s teacher, curated the exhibition. Silversaga’s photographs are created in a limbo between child and grownup, games and seriousness, and something in common in all her work is the search for identity and being seen. The photographs themselves become a way of showing what cannot be said.
