This poster rendition of Nick Veasey’s “Bat” reveals an electrifying skeleton of this creature that would otherwise be unexamined by most of us. The background is deep and flat at once, inducing a cave-like miasma within the image that feels right in tandem with the bat. Resembling, too, a page of something like a scientific journal of zoology, this x-ray of the splayed bat almost comically answers Thomas Nagel famous question: “What is it like to be a bat?”
